Marina Poppins was started by two experienced travel nannies, Hayley and India. With years of experience in luxury travel and childcare, we’ve joined forces to show insights into our world of travel and UHNW nannying - and thus, Marina Poppins was born.

How we got here …
Hayley is an adaptable and confident nanny with over 8 years experience across yacht and shore based childcare from new born to teenagers. Originally from New Zealand she has a double major of psychology and childhood development as well as a children’s and young people diploma. Hayley combines this knowledge into age appropriate activities, creating memories that last a lifetime. Currently based in Scotland, she is well suited to charters and holiday placements.
India is a professional and detail-oriented individual with over 5 years of combined experience in luxury yachting and childcare. Passionate about creating meaningful, enriching experiences for children and helping families feel supported. Known for her warm, upbeat personality and a discreet, trustworthy approach - especially when working with high-profile clients. Currently based in Manchester, UK, available internationally for holiday placements and charters.

How do I become a travel nanny?
So you’re ready to make the jump from nannying to travel nannying? amazing! what an exciting step you’re ready to make in your career! Don’t worry, we’re not trying to sell you anything, we’re simply here to help.
How do you ensure safety while travelling with children?
We take safety very seriously at Marina Poppins, both having completed extensive safety courses including, sea survival, paediatric first aid, elementary first aid, food and hygiene, proficiency in security awareness and have background checks available.
Along with all of this we have years of hands on experience which enables us to be ready for any and all situations.
How far in advance should I book a travel nanny?
For international travel nannying we suggest booking a nanny at least six weeks in advance to ensure well thought out, quality childcare. However, we know that isn’t always possible and have both done trips with less than 24 hours notice. If either of us are available we would be happy to help at short notice.
